Happy Monday! We thought we would share a recent project we completed with Mac & Murphy of Charleston, South Carolina. The lovely Liz and Ami worked with our Bride Elizabeth and Groom Mitchell to modify the LP+P Bayside Wedding Invitation to suit their seaside nuptials.
The inspiration invitation included a set of rowing oars in the monogram, sailing flags as dividing elements, garnet and mango inks, and streamlined font styles. Elizabeth & Mitchell's invitation introduced an anchor detail in the monogram, a sailboat silhouette as a divider, royal and teal inks, and a mix of streamlined and traditional script style fonts.
The original inspiration response card we started with showed a slightly different version of a sailing anchor, lots of white space and the streamlined fonts. Elizabeth & Mitchell's response card includes our traditional sailing knot motif and their clean text on bright white.
Our favorite part? Besides of course working with Mac & Murphy - The bright, fresh color palette. The royal blue and teal look gorgeous together and seem just perfect for a wedding by the sea!
